Company BioXene is a Hawaii-based biotechnology company. Formed in 2004, BioXene primary focus is developing state of the art rapid, low cost disposable nanobiosensors. Utilizing a proprietary patent pending platform technology developed at the University of Hawaii, BioXene’s products have several key distinctive competitive advantages over existing molecular detection methods such as immunoassay (ELISA), dot blot (Western Blot) and electrophoresis.
Founder and CEO - Victor Wong Victor Wong has extensive experience in all aspects of management and administration with a wide range of experiences ranging from CFO of a midsize information technology company to the Director of Finance of a large mainland law firm with over $50 million in revenues annually. Mr. Wong was also previously employed as a tax attorney by Coopers & Lybrand LLP (PricewaterhouseCoopers). He also has extensive startup experience as a co-founder of a startup ASP company in Los Angeles helping to raise $1.3 million in funding and as a consultant assisting in the formation of a biochip company based in Irvine, California. Mr. Wong earned a JD from New York University School of Law, an MBA with a concentration in finance from the University of Washington and a BA in economics magna cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Mr. Wong is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the State Bar of California. |
